Disclaimer: I stole all of these pictures from Austin. This was my first fishing trip of 2012!! The Ladyfish (my fishing pole) unfortunately didn't catch anything but I did have fun taking pictures of everyone else's catches. Check out some of the sweet fish people caught. It was a fun morning.

Happy Birthday to the elusive Ryan Way

It is Ryan's birthday everyone. He is turning 37 so make sure you give him a shout out today... if you can find him for he often disappears without a word and then reappears hours later with an energy drink in hand. Ryan is a navy veteran so give him a high five and thanks for his service. So, if you are lucky enough to see Ryan today, make sure you wish him a happy birthday, and buy him lunch. Happy Birthday Ryan!
Always the servant, keeping people hydrated
Thumbs up for technology
Just your average day at the camp
He learned these skills in the Navy
He was a model in his past life
Best friends

Ryan is always willing to dress up for any event, and bring along his guitar
He is always so joyful
And again with the joy. You can just see it in his face
His joy has rubbed off on Austin.
Happy Birthday!

Meghan and Jason's Wedding

I really love weddings and seeing all of my friends dressed up and dancing like maniacs on the dance floor. Here are a few pictures from Meghan and Jason's wedding.

Tulip Time

Time to celebrate the Dutch. Once a year, the people of Pella come out of their homes dressed in traditional Dutch garb and start cooking up a storm. Tulip Time is a great little weekend celebration filled with tasty Dutch foods and usually pretty tulips. Andrea and I made the trip down to Pella with Jenni and Kristen to celebrate all things Dutch. (that's 2 dutch girls, 1 Norwegian, and 1 German in case you were wondering). Poffertjes, stroupwafels, corn dogs (not dutch but still tasty), dutch letters, spiced beef sandwiches, pretzel knots, etc etc etc. We ate so much and didn't regret a thing. Unfortunately there were only tulip stems left because the weather has been SO warm for so long but we didn't mind. The sketchy weather held off for us and we were able to enjoy the night parade. Yeah Tulip Time!

Sweet Kayla Boyd hosted a party at her house to celebrate being daughters of a wonderful and mighty king. I am so thankful for Kayla and her heart for people. She is a wonderful sister in Christ.

These pictures are a little bit old but that is just par for the course on this here blog. Imagine playing dodgeball from about 730 until 1030.. nonstop. Then playing basketball, then soccer, then knock out. And then imagine trying to walk the next day. Awesome right. It was such a fun and competitive night. I love the look on the guys faces. They're so aggressive.
